Statice

Statice is one of those classics you might remember from your grandmother's garden, but it’s making a big comeback today. Once statice is in full bloom, it basically doesn't wilt. That makes it a reliable staple for drying, winter crafts, wreaths, or small boutonnieres. Once dried, the flowers beautifully retain their original colors. These plants thrive best in full sun in well-drained soil. Most varieties handle summer heat well and are not prone to pests.
