Didiscus heeft een bijzondere naam, maar het is een grote schoonheid die lijkt op Ammi majus of sierpeen. De bloemen zijn schijfvormig met kleine bloemetjes. Didiscus bloeit sneller uit, net als Ammi majus of sierpeen, dus we raden aan om meerdere keren achter elkaar te zaaien. Hij houdt van warmte, dus hij kan ook in de zomer worden gezaaid.
